Ready for Today...Ready for Tomorrow

Your small investment in Earthmate GPS today will be one that grows with you for years to come. Because of the device's removable cabling and other design factors, Earthmate GPS is expandable to work with today's USB laptops and handheld computers, as well as many new display devices currently in development.

The new NMEA-compliant Earthmate GPS includes a convenient suction cup mount that attaches to the cable for secure in-vehicle positioning. The removable 6-foot cable allows flexibility for in-vehicle placement, as well as extendibility into a whole new world of current and future display devices. The USB connection powers the receiver so batteries are not needed. (NOTE to serial laptop users: A separate serial 12-volt power cable and other power accessories are available.)

Typical GPS accuracy average is 15 meters. WAAS-corrected GPS signals can provide accuracy of less than 3 meters 95% of the time where available!

"Good functionality and very low price earned the Earthmate the Government Computer News Lab’s Bang-for-the-Buck designation. Because a notebook LCD is a lot bigger than a typical handheld screen, the Earthmate was far easier to reference when driving than other test units. The included software even had a high-contrast setting, so I could read the map in sun glare. This definitely would be the best device for drivers."
